Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craftsmen and sub-contractors while interpreting specifications, blueprints, and work orders to direct the installation of medium voltage equipment. Select appropriate tools and materials, adjust work to meet construction schedules, and maintain time records. Enforce company policies including safety regulations and OSHA guidelines, ensuring all personnel read and understand job site maps and instruction manuals accurately. Requires at least five years of construction foreman experience, two years of medium voltage experience, a journeyman card or license, and a valid driver's license. Salary ranges from $27.50 to $45.00 hourly with a 401(k) match up to 4%.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of Construction Foreman experience
- At least 2 years of medium voltage experience
- Journeyman card in electrical field or an electrical license
- Ability to think critically and resolve problems
- Comfortable with MS Office (EXCEL, Word, Outlook)
- Thorough understanding of safety requirements and OSHA guidelines
- Able to read and understand blueprints, sketches, labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals and written instructions accurately
- Must be high school graduate or hold G.E.D.
- Must have valid driver's license
- Pre-employment drug test required
