Job Summary
Conduct DC trenching, MV cable installation, conduit runs, and fiber work while performing splices, terminations, and wire management on solar field projects. Execute string current checks, megger testing, and energization procedures, and manage as-built surveys and tier board documentation. Supervise a crew of 10 or more to safely complete electrical scopes under all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. Maintain strict safety protocols, LOTO procedures, and teamwork standards while lifting 50 pounds and performing repetitive physical tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
- Able to supervise a crew of 10 or more to safely and productively complete required tasks
- GED or equivalent education
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
