Job Summary

Conduct electrical construction on solar fields by performing DC trenching, MV cable installation, conduit work, fiber termination, and inverter DC termination. Execute splice operations, wire management, labeling, and module installation while managing LOTO, switching, and energization procedures. Perform string current checks, megger testing, and various voltage tests including PD, VLF, VOC, and IV curve analysis. Provide timely documentation of field decisions and reporting, such as Tier Boards and production tracking. Supervise a crew of 10 or more to safely and productively complete required tasks while modeling behavior in safety, quality, attendance, and punctuality. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold, with exposure to loud noises, dust, and debris.

Required Qualifications

  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
  • Able to supervise a crew of 10 or more to safely and productively complete required tasks
  • GED or equivalent education

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
