Job Summary
Lead electrical construction on solar fields by performing DC trenching, MV cable installation, conduit runs, fiber work, inverter terminations, and splice operations including DC, MV, and riser tasks. Execute LOTO, switching, energization, and testing protocols such as Megger, PD, VLF, VOC, IV curve, and IR scanning. Supervise crews of 10 or more while providing timely documentation for Tier Boards and production tracking. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold, while adhering to safety standards and lifting 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
- Able to supervise a crew of 10 or more to safely and productively complete required tasks
- GED or equivalent education
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
