Job Summary
Oversee on-site electrical operations, coordinate with the Project Manager, and manage timelines for commercial electrical projects. Lead and mentor field crews, organize materials and manpower, perform quality control and safety compliance, troubleshoot electrical issues, maintain records of work and materials, participate in pre-construction and post-project reviews, and build professional relationships within the industry. Must hold a valid Journeyman's License and have a minimum of 2 years of journeyman experience; proficient in blueprints/schematics, interlock wiring, testing, and related electrical systems; capable of leading teams and utilizing project management software.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman's License
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a journeyman
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze electrical issues
- Leadership and training capabilities
- Proficient in interlock wiring, testing electrical systems, and diagnosing system malfunctions
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong computer skills and ability to utilize project management software
