Job Summary
Electrical Foreman responsible for guiding and overseeing commercial electrical crews on construction job sites, reporting to the superintendent and/or director of construction. Duties include staffing daily tasks, deploying personnel, coordinating equipment needs, interpreting drawings to facilitate installation, creating material lists and ensuring on-site availability, establishing weekly benchmarks and maintaining the project schedule, attending project meetings, keeping the plans and schedule aligned with expectations, promoting a culture of safety, and communicating progress and needs to the PM. Emphasizes team-oriented leadership, safety oversight, and effective communication in a field supervision context.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in project installation of electrical systems in commercial settings
- experience coordinating multiple field tasks and supervising personnel
- experience with trade inspections; dealing with jurisdiction inspectors
