Job Summary
The Electrical Field Superintendent will oversee on-site electrical construction activities for large hi-tech industrial projects in Boise, managing the low voltage electrical scope, coordinating with multiple subcontractors, and ensuring schedule, QA/QC, safety, and client/architect/engineer collaboration. Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors and craft employees, maintaining daily project schedules, managing RFIs and submittals, upholding safety protocols, resolving design/constructability issues, interpreting installations per codes and site specs, supporting cost estimates with field conditions, coordinating contractor performance, and assisting with staffing and cross-team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent preferred
- OHSA 30 Certification
- 5+ years of low voltage electrical construction experience
- Experience on large industrial or high-tech fabrication projects
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks
- Ability to interpret and implement proper installations in compliance with local permitting codes and site specifications
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and craft employees
- Familiarity with CSI specification system
- Ability to work extended hours or off-shift as schedules demand
- Cleanroom experience a plus
- Valid driver's license
