Job Summary
Lead work planning, packaging, and quantity verification for piping scope at Intel's Fab 62 facility in Chandler, AZ. Prepare and review construction drawings, sketches, and field instructions to support safe, quality installations within schedule and budget. Coordinate with superintendents, engineering, and craft professionals to resolve technical issues, manage material requisitions, and ensure compliance with inspection and testing requirements. Monitor field activities to verify approved documents are used daily and support system turnover through accurate progress reporting. Requires a bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of experience in piping installation, with a commitment to Zero Accident Philosophy and active construction environments.
Required Qualifications
- Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- 9-12 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of piping installation, inspection, and testing practices
- Understanding of project Environmental, Safety & Health (ES&H) requirements and safe work execution
- Ability to support work planning, material management, and quantity tracking activities
- Familiarity with piping drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and construction sequencing on large industrials projects
- Ability to coordinate with engineering, construction, and other disciplines to resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain progress
- Ability to perform field inspections in active construction environments
- Ability to coordinate with engineering, construction, survey, and other disciplines; escalates systemic risks or problems early and clearly
