Electrical Field Coordinator - Energy Construction

Job Summary

Interpret electrical drawings and specifications for field crews, perform quantity calculations, and assist in preparing work plans and packages. Supervise field operations and subcontractor activities while conducting material takeoffs, technical drafting, and basic engineering calculations. Coordinate material deliveries, schedule work groups, and manage daily labor timesheets and job cost data. Participate in safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and the preparation of Job Hazard Analyses. Assist in generating change orders, as-built data, and correspondence with vendors and agencies. Review bid documents, analyze historical data, and complete plan and specification reviews to assess project risks.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of construction field experience
  • Work experience in engineering and leading engineers
  • Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or a equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to travel and relocate as needed
  • Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
  • Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
  • Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines
  • Work overtime and weekends as required
