Electrical Estimator

Electrical Estimator will develop, create and prepare electrical cost estimates for diverse projects in early development stages and support the project team with updated cost information throughout the Pre-construction phase. Responsibilities include reviewing plans and MEP drawings, preparing quantity take-offs, soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids (typically $50 - $150 million per year), obtaining 3-5 bids per trade, analyzing bids for conformance to specifications, pricing, material quality, wages and related factors, conducting site visits and change order pricing, organizing a centralized estimating database, and communicating with clients to resolve pricing questions and ensure client satisfaction. Requires BS/BA and 5+ years in estimating or related roles, proficiency with MS Office/Excel, budgeting, purchasing, and strong communication and ethical standards.
