Electrical Estimator - Kiewit Power Constructors

Estimator will prepare, review and present discipline estimates for project proposal activities, provide estimating assistance and guidance to projects, develop conceptual estimates and perform cost analysis. Responsible for assisting in developing discipline/service estimators, updating historical databases, and assisting in developing department procedures, while providing direction on project/program level tasks. Location is Lenexa, KS; must be able to travel and relocate as company needs dictate. Proficiency with Primavera Project Planner and ability to coordinate with the business development department for proposal documents, quantity takeoffs, and pricing of vendor or subcontract items. Responsibilities include maintaining training for estimating staff, supervising district scheduling, and preparing recaps, pricing sheets, bid forms, and in-house bid submittals.
