Job Summary
Electrical Estimator supports preconstruction on industrial, utility, and renewable energy projects by developing detailed cost estimates based on project plans, specifications, and scope requirements. Performs quantity takeoffs and develops labor, material, and equipment pricing, and collaborates with project managers, field teams, and leadership during bidding. Evaluates project scope, risks, and constructability to ensure accurate and competitive bids, and supports bid reviews and project handoff to operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience estimating electrical construction projects in industrial, utility, or large-scale commercial environments
- Proven experience with medium to high voltage electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Experience working with union labor or within industrial electrical environments preferred
- Strong understanding of labor production, material takeoffs, and project cost structure
