Job Summary
Develop cost estimates from the take-off stage to bid hand-off, including fully on-screen electronic takeoffs and markups of blueprints. Analyze material and labor requirements to complete a project, visually inspect sites to determine labor and material needs, and contact vendors for pricing. Compute and submit bids, develop change order estimates and submissions, and attend pre-bid and scope review meetings. Read and evaluate specifications, assess project risks, and meet with engineers, customers, and Project Managers. Requires 6-8 years of experience with ConEst software and strong math skills; full-time onsite role with 100% premium medical and dental coverage.
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience with a High School Diploma
- 4-6 years of experience with an Associate degree
- 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree
- Strong computer, Bluebeam, ConEst, and Microsoft Suite skills
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage Systems
- Read and evaluate specifications and blueprints
- Deal effectively with customers
- Analyze risks involved with certain project types
- Estimate large and small projects
- Work calmly under deadlines and external pressure
- Excellent math skills
- Strong communication skills
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship

Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on construction experience
- Journeyman or Master Electrician's License
