Electrical Estimator - Data Center Fit-Out Projects

Job Summary
Electrical Estimator for data center fit-out projects responsible for delivering accurate, competitive cost estimates; reviews drawings and specifications, performs digital takeoffs using McCormick/Accubid, develops labor/material/equipment pricing for power distribution, busways, rack systems, and lighting; interprets redundancy architectures (N, N+1, 2N); identifies live-environment constructability challenges; solicits and evaluates vendor quotes; prepares detailed proposals with scope clarifications, inclusions/exclusions/alternates; supports design-assist, preconstruction, change orders, GMP, and budget revisions; maintains historical cost data and collaborates with preconstruction, project management, and field operations.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years electrical estimating experience (data center fit-out or mission-critical interiors preferred)
- Hands-on experience with McCormick and/or Accubid (required)
- Strong knowledge of branch power distribution, rack-level power, and data hall layouts
- Ability to read one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, floor plans, and control schematics
- Proficiency in Excel and digital takeoff tools (Bluebeam or PlanSwift)
- Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
