Job Summary
Log in estimates, review plans and specifications, and prepare quotes by selecting vendors and extending raw/prime costs. Set up estimating system labels, coordinate project strategies with account managers, and present proposals. Track material, labor, subcontractor, and rental costs to identify trends while maintaining an orderly inventory of estimates and proposals. Prepare V.E. pricing graphs and presentations, assist with conceptual design efforts, and ensure all estimates meet NEC and building code requirements. This role supports Piper Electric's expansion into new verticals within the Crete United network.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years in electrical industry
- Minimum 3 years as an electrical estimator
- Accubid experience required
- Knowledge of the NEC and building codes
- Thorough knowledge of national and local electrical building codes
Desired Qualifications
- Field experience preferred
