Electrical Estimator

Job Summary
Attend project meetings to review scopes and develop project approaches, while performing take-offs and developing project cost analyses. Create estimates and bid packages in coordination with project management staff, and coordinate service requests from engineering and design professionals. Assess risk levels associated with projects and understand contractual terms and conditions. Support safety initiatives by addressing observed deficiencies with the field operations team during site visits. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction or business, knowledge of basic electricity theory, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a construction or business-related field of study, or a relevant combination of electrical industry work experience and education
- Know and be capable of applying the theory of basic electricity, and be able to read and interpret project plans and prints
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, and employees
- Must be able to read, write and understand instructions in English
- Must be able to see and hear (naturally or with correction)
Desired Qualifications
- Electrical License or Journeyman card is preferred
