Job Summary
Electrical Estimator will bid, document, and adjust estimates to ensure accurate takeoffs for new housing construction projects. Responsibilities include reviewing bid documents, scheduling meetings, performing equipment counts, creating equipment/material lists, generating takeoff lists, sending RFQs to vendors, comparing quotes, verifying drawings, updating bid and RFQ logs, responding to GC/vendor questions, following up on bid projects, scheduling handoff meetings, and maintaining qualifying job paperwork. Preferred candidates have 2+ years estimating/field experience and are proficient in Bluebeam, Wrightsoft, and MS Office. The role is based in Monroe, OH with standard Monday–Friday hours and eligibility for company benefits; must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years estimating experience or field experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and estimating software such as Wrightsoft
- Experience in computerized/digital takeoff
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
