Job Summary
Electrical Equipment Design and Installation Engineer (Experienced or Senior) responsibilities include developing and maintaining electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas) and harness detail; assisting with discrepancies and documenting processes supporting design and manufacture of electrical commodities; data gathering for statements of work; supplier capability assessments; and working onsite in North Charleston, SC with CAD tooling experience. The role emphasizes on-site execution, model-based definition, and adherence to Boeing’s safety, quality, and integrity standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical) or related field, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 3+ years of experience with wire design/wire harness installation and/or equipment installation
- 3+ years of experience with CAD tools (CATIA, Solidworks, Siemens NX)
- Knowledge of Model-Based Definition (CATIA V5 or higher, Solidworks, Siemens NX), ENOVIA, and PDM; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
