Electrical Engineering Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electromechanical issues on spindle systems and machine tool components. Utilize diagnostic equipment to evaluate motors, encoders, sensors, drives, and related electrical components while performing functional testing and validation prior to shipment. Support spindle rebuild activities, execute service orders, and document root cause findings, repairs, and testing results. Provide technical support to customers regarding equipment startup, operation, and performance, and assist with installation, commissioning, and field service. Maintain calibration records and collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve product reliability and service processes. Work 100% in-office from 7-3:30 in Hebron, Kentucky.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or equivalent technical experience
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, controls, and automation components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Experience using electrical diagnostic and testing equipment
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams
