Job Summary
Build, solder, and test prototype electrical assemblies for Class II/III medical devices, including surface mount and through-hole PCBs. Develop embedded design support, perform hardware testing, and assist with design transfer to manufacturing and quality assurance. Manage lab inventory, maintain tools with ESD calibration, and contribute to mechanical fixturing. Provide detailed documentation, estimate budgets, and mentor less experienced technicians. Work cross-functionally with engineers and project leaders to support product development from concept through production.
Required Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Two-year Tech degree or higher
- 2-4 years technical experience
- Proficient at quickly solving medium-complexity problems
- Ability to create drawings and write detailed, compliant technical documents
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Results orientated with a bias for action and timely completion
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Two-year Tech degree or higher preferred
- 2-4 years technical experience with a preference for the medical, military and/or avionics industry
- Familiarity with sensors, A/D conversion, filtering, and RF preferred
- Experience with supporting design transfer preferred
- Experience in production sustaining and manufacturing quality roles desirable
