Job Summary
Apply electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering principles to develop solutions for conventional or thermal oil and gas business units. Collaborate with various teams on reliability-focused improvements and initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles. Gain exposure to diverse facility designs within Canadian Natural's Western Canada business while working alongside industry-leading professionals. This 8-month term begins in January or May 2027 with a 5-on, 2-off schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or Technologist Program in Engineering
- Electrical, Instrumentation or Controls disciplines
- Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license or equivalent out of province license
- Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
- Safety sensitive position

- Within one year of graduation
