Job Summary
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, PC equipment, and variable frequency drives while maintaining configuration backups and documentation. Design, assemble, and install new electrical systems as required, and assist technicians with equipment issues. Initiate and complete process improvement projects, train department personnel, and manage spare parts inventory. Ensure workplace safety and comply with SQF procedures. Some nights and weekends work may be required; consistent attendance and flexibility for non-standard hours are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 0-5 years Electrical Engineering in an industrial maintenance environment
- Associates of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
- PLC, HMI, and variable speed drive programming
- PC maintenance, troubleshooting and repair
- Must have good communication skills and be able to multi-task
- Some nights and weekends work may be required
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
