Job Summary
Electrical Engineering Manager provides strategic and technical leadership for electrical design and virtual design teams, overseeing preconstruction and design phases to deliver constructible, code-compliant electrical designs across nationwide projects. Leads Electrical Design Engineers and VDC teams, manages workload planning, standards, and professional development; guides BIM coordination, NEC/IBC/IECC/ life-safety compliance, and the development of installation-ready drawings; drives value engineering, quality, and client engagement while coordinating with project managers, field teams, and external clients. Requires strong leadership, NEC/IBC knowledge, BIM/VDC proficiency (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam), and ability to travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- Revit Certification or 2+ years of relevant professional experience
