Job Summary
Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in passive microwave, antenna feeds, and RF testing, including RF high power and array products. Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals. Acquire resources for projects, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements. Maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports while providing oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. Manage, develop, and motivate employees. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of engineering experience in RF or microwave, and 1+ years in a leadership role. U.S. Security Clearance required. Pay range $151,300 - $204,700.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field
- 1+ years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience)
- 5+ years of engineering experience in RF, microwave, antenna, or related disciplines
- Experience with technical oversight, integration, and verification of complex hardware systems
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing engineering teams in aerospace or defense
- Hands-on experience with passive microwave devices, antenna feeds, and RF test systems
- Experience supporting satellite or space hardware programs
- Experience leading process improvement and supplier technical management
