Electrical Engineering Manager

Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers to design and optimize electronics for drones, including motor controllers, battery management, embedded systems, and RF communication hardware; partner with mechanical, firmware, and software teams to create cohesive, high-performing systems; establish and enforce rigorous quality, testing, and compliance standards; contribute to product roadmapping and technology forecasting; help transition designs from R&D to scalable production by working closely with manufacturing to turn prototypes into field-ready systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years in electrical design and development
- 3+ years leading engineering teams
- Deep knowledge of PCB layout, embedded systems, signal processing, power systems, RF design
- Experience with CAD tools, simulation environments (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB), and real-time control systems
- Leadership: leading teams through ambiguity, scaling complex systems, delivering under pressure
- Communication: ability to articulate vision, strategy, and technical details clearly
