Job Summary
Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills; learn basic principles of Electrical Engineering; assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations/analysis; assist in preparing final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates; assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation; complete training on assigned tasks; uphold ethical conduct per company policies; perform additional responsibilities as required; internship for Fall 2026 at the Troy, NY office within the design of critical facilities such as data centers.
Required Qualifications
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering undergraduate program or graduate program (BSEE or MSEE) with expected graduation date December 2026 or later
- Must be 18 or older
- Demonstrated interest in Electrical Engineering and desire to advance skills related to WSP’s projects
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to take direction and work with mentors
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, spreadsheets, and related tools
- Commitment to workplace safety and adhering to policies
- Authorization to work in the United States at internship start
