Job Summary
Support facility condition assessments of federal infrastructure systems, electrical power designs for construction projects, and analyze facility systems and equipment. Perform 2D and 3D drafting using AutoCAD and Revit, develop construction cost estimates, and support power system studies including short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash analysis. Write technical reports and populate cloud-based databases. This hands-on internship applies textbook knowledge to real engineering challenges with experienced professionals. Candidates must be enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program at an ABET-accredited university, available for up to 20 hours weekly, and hold US citizenship. Located in Merritt Island, FL, with a starting rate of $22.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program at a four-year ABET university or college
- Must be able to work part-time, maximum 20 hours on average each work week
- Have reliable transportation
- Verification of US Citizenship
