Job Summary
Electrical Engineering intern role supporting Space Systems division by helping bring new electronics products to market and supporting implementation of electronics design software. You’ll work with mentors and a small team to apply engineering concepts to real challenges, attend regular 1:1s, and participate in tech talks and networking events. Responsibilities include assisting with hardware-oriented tasks, prototyping, circuit creation, testing, and collaboration across teams to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes hands-on hardware experience (Arduinos, Raspberry Pi, soldering, breadboards), basic circuit prototyping, and software exposure (Python). Location is Toronto, on-site for a minimum of 16 consecutive weeks starting August 31, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline with at least one semester remaining after internship
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience applicable)
