Electrical Engineering Instructor (Part -Time, In Person)

Job Summary
Develop and deliver high-quality, student-centered lectures and lab sessions. Create engaging, interactive lesson plans with real-world examples and hands-on activities. Provide individualized support to students and stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering to inform curriculum development. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Requires a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to create effective lesson plans, excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, passion for teaching and mentoring, and flexibility to work after-school hours. Location: Bronx, United States; in-person, part-time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow and/or create effective and engaging lesson plans
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Ability to work flexible hours, typically as part of an after school activity program
