Job Summary
Electrical Designer responsible for designing electrical systems per customer specifications, advancing designs per Eclipse methods, performing power calculations and electrical safety considerations, selecting hardware/software components (robots, motion controllers, sensors, vision systems, lasers), and collaborating across controls and mechanical teams to deliver integrated automation solutions; role offers pathway toward lead design responsibilities and growth within the electrical design discipline.
Required Qualifications
- A post-secondary engineering degree or diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years Electrical Design Experience preferred
- Experience with EPLAN is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- A self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Experience in an automation environment will be considered an asset
