Electrical Engineering Designer (Retail Facilities)

Job Summary
Lead the electrical discipline for assigned projects by designing lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems for retail renovations, expansions, and new facilities. Produce construction documents using Revit while performing voltage drop calculations, load analysis, and fault current studies. Select equipment and ensure all designs comply with the NEC, energy codes, Life Safety Code, and local amendments. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to integrate systems, represent the discipline in meetings, and conduct site observations or evaluate point cloud scans. Manage multiple projects within strict schedules, budgets, and scopes while participating in multi-discipline QC reviews. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Associate's, and or vocational degree
- A minimum of three years of experience in electrical engineering design for buildings and facilities
- Proficiency in electrical distribution system, power, and lighting design
- Proficiency in Revit
- Knowledge of building, energy, electrical, and life-safety codes
