Job Summary
Join McKim & Creed as an Electrical Designer in the Building, Energy and Infrastructure (BEI) Group, providing technical and design services for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems. Responsibilities include producing electrical design and construction drawings while collaborating with Project Manager and Sr. Electrical Engineer. A minimum of a two-year degree in a related technical field and two years' experience with AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit are required, along with strong communication skills. Additional experience in electrical construction and knowledge of the NEC are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit design
- Two-year degree in computer-aided drafting, electrical systems technology, or related technical field required
- Good technical and communication skills
- Methodical, precise and consistent
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with electrical construction/installation
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC)
- 2+ years of documented experience in the AEC Industry
