Job Summary
Design electrical systems for small to moderately complex building projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage infrastructure. Contribute to coordinated design solutions by partnering with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients from concept through construction. Prepare drawings, construction documents, technical reports, calculations, and visual aids using current design software while applying engineering standards and codes. Support design requirements, impact studies, cost analyses, and field reviews. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical design judgment and adapt solutions to specific project needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Experience using production software and preparing construction documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, contractors, team members, and other project stakeholders
- Must be a U.S. Person per client requirement
Desired Qualifications
- Engineer Intern (EI) certification
- Experience supporting electrical design for building or facility projects
- Interest in growing toward greater technical responsibility, client coordination, and professional licensure
