Job Summary
Deliver electrical engineering solutions for mining and mineral processing facilities by supporting design and execution of sustaining capital, plant upgrade, and brownfields projects. Prepare design documentation, calculations, technical reports, scopes of work, and specifications while contributing to power distribution, motor control, and infrastructure systems. Participate in site visits, inspections, commissioning activities, and stakeholder workshops, working closely with mechanical, process, structural, civil, and project delivery teams. Engage directly with clients to understand operational requirements and develop practical engineering solutions, assisting in managing project scope, schedules, and deliverables. This role offers direct client engagement and genuine project ownership within a strong pipeline of mining and sustaining capital work across Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering
- Approximately 5-10 years of experience within mining, resources, energy, or heavy industry
- Experience delivering electrical designs for operational facilities and capital projects
- Knowledge of Australian standards and industry best practices
- Exposure to power systems, industrial electrical infrastructure, and plant environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective client relationships
- A proactive approach with a focus on practical problem-solving and project delivery
