Job Summary
Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for SFT products, focusing on building reliable, scalable electrical components and controls. Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, and Project Management teams to ensure seamless system integration and proper resource allocation. Analyze and test prototypes and device revisions while implementing inspection processes to ensure product quality. Troubleshoot issues by coordinating closely with engineers and technicians, utilizing PCB CAD tools and embedded firmware development skills. Prepare documentation of critical analysis and provide feedback throughout the design development and integration of electronic systems.
Required Qualifications
- US Permanent Residency
- 10+ years of experience as Electrical Engineer
- Strong experience with PCB design and layout
- Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting on circuit boards
- Experience with PCB CAD tools, including open-source platforms such as KiCAD
- Comfortable with common electrical test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, power meters)
- Familiarity with embedded firmware development (C, C++) and/or microcontroller programming
- Proven track record in working with multi-disciplined, highly skilled technical teams
- Accustomed to working in a production facility environment inclusive of loud noises, standing for long periods of time with the ability to lift or move light to medium weight equipment and products
- Onsite in Cleveland, Ohio (Ohio City)
