Job Summary
Electrical Engineer to join AECOM's Water Team with opportunities to be based across North and Midlands offices (Birmingham, Chesterfield, Leeds, Manchester) with a flexible hybrid working model. Responsibilities include electrical design for water and wastewater projects (load schedules, single line diagrams, MCC general arrangements, instrument schedules, installation and cable calculations, PLC/SCADA systems, URS, specs, reports), input to P&IDs, site surveys, and data gathering; manage across all design stages (Feasibility to Construction); collaborate with other disciplines; contribute to bids and proposals; ensure delivery within budgets and timelines for clients such as Severn Trent Water and others. The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, design accuracy to national/international standards, and ongoing professional development with chartership pursuits. Required Qualifications
- Experience in the design of water and wastewater engineering deliverables
