Job Summary
Design electrical systems from medium/low voltage switchboards to IT racks by preparing schematics, 2D and 3D models, and performing load calculations. Apply international and internal standards to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective designs while integrating engineering practices throughout the process. Participate in project kick-offs and coordinate with cross-functional teams including architectural, structural, and manufacturing engineers to ensure cohesive execution. Provide technical support during fabrication and assembly, resolve electrical issues with site managers and commissioning teams, and review workshop documentation and supplier RFQs. Specify materials, services, and certifications for project execution. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, PE license optional, and proficiency in Revit or EPLAN. 5-15% domestic and international travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 0-5 years of electrical engineering experience
- Proficient in any 3D modeling like Revit, Autocad, EPLAN
- Knowledge of data center electrical equipment: low voltage switchboard / switchgear, UPS, distribution design, installation, and use
- Understanding of current National Electrical Code
