Job Summary
Electrical Engineer to support new and existing product development, including design, testing, and compliance. Responsibilities span PCB/wiring/cable assemblies, embedded software development (assembly and C), PLC programming, regulatory compliance (UL/CSA/CE), vendor coordination, field service support, product documentation, debugging and root-cause analysis, and sustaining manufacturing support. Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 4–7 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of electronics design, EMC standards, and engineering documentation; capable of working independently or in teams and communicating effectively across Product Management, Sales, and Labs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4–7 years of experience in product development or manufacturing environments
- Working knowledge of electronics design and schematic capture
- Experience with embedded software (assembly and C programming)
- PLC programming experience or willingness to learn
- Experience with global safety and EMC standards (UL, CSA, CE)
- Knowledge of engineering documentation practices
- Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and operations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard PC applications
