Job Summary
Design and deliver technical training programs for internal field service engineers, vendors, and customers covering solar inverter installation, commissioning, and maintenance. Develop comprehensive training materials, assessments, and evaluation approaches while collaborating with product development and R&D teams to ensure accuracy. Conduct sessions via in-person and virtual platforms, organize customer facility visits, and lead safety-related training. Serve as a technical resource for troubleshooting, support engineering service center repair activities, and assist with technical proposal development. Analyze assessment results and participant feedback to refine programs and prepare outcome reports for management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, renewable energy, or a related field
- Proven experience in training, preferably in the renewable energy sector
- In-depth knowledge of solar inverter technologies and their applications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using training software and virtual training platforms
- Demonstrates broad knowledge of electrical and construction site safety
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, power Point and Outlook)
- Must have basic knowledge of Electrical Safety Standards
- Solar industry, battery industry, or power electronics experience is required
- English Language fluency required
- 10% to 30% travel
Desired Qualifications
- Mandarin Chinese Proficiency desired but not required
- Certification in training and development (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) is a plus
- Master of data analysis and visualization tools such as R or Python is a plus
