Job Summary
Electrical Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical devices and equipment including communications systems, power generators, and motors. Prepare electrical single-line diagrams and wiring/circuit drawings, size conduit and conductors for basic power distribution up to 480V, and ensure NEC compliance. Knowledge of equipment such as motors, motor starters, disconnects, transformers, MCCs, and VFDs; PV solar design concepts and lighting audits are a plus. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and 5 years of design experience; P.E. certification strongly preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
- Strong CAD experience
- Knowledge of NEC requirements
- Knowledge of PV solar design concepts (plus)
- P.E. Certification strongly preferred
