Job Summary
Electrical Engineer role focusing on troubleshooting PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and automated systems, programming PLCs and HMIs, installing/startup/validation of equipment, and improving reliability of automation in a production environment. Key duties include diagnosing electrical, controls, software, and hardware problems; modifying, debugging, and optimizing PLC/HMI programs; developing and maintaining electrical schematics and technical records; collaborating with engineering, maintenance, quality, and production teams; supporting capital projects and manufacturing improvements; ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards; providing technical training to maintenance and operations; occasional travel for installations and facilities support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience supporting automation, controls, or electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial automated equipment and machine control systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control circuits, and industrial automation principles.
- Experience with PLC programming and HMI development.
