Job Summary
Design electrical control systems, review existing controls for gas, electrode, and electric boilers, and prepare schematic wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and bills of materials. Select components meeting customer and code requirements, ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA, UL, and CSA standards. Collaborate with shop assemblers to verify fabrication and design practicality, maintain UL files, and write PLC programs. Assist customers and service technicians with troubleshooting, draft technical documentation, and support marketing, purchasing, and manufacturing teams. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience and CAD proficiency. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years electrical engineering experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read all applicable drawings, including mechanical, electrical and instrumentation
- Proficient with CAD for creating and editing drawings
- Must have expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software, e.g. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, MS Project, Access, etc
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Desired Qualifications
- Boiler industry experience a plus
- A working knowledge of ASME Pressure Vessel Codes, boilers, heat transfer equipment, or auxiliary boiler room equipment
