Job Summary
Lead the design and implementation of embedded processor control platforms for complex aerospace equipment while developing hardware systems focused on EMI/RFI compliance and power distribution. Conduct investigative and qualification testing to meet rigorous military and aviation standards, author formal engineering reports and specifications, and partner with the production floor to troubleshoot electrical components. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, customers, and subcontractors to ensure technical objectives align with project goals. This role balances hands-on technical analysis with high-level project coordination for next-generation aerospace solutions.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Experience with circuit design using analog and processor based motion controls, aerospace actuators, and PCB software such as Altium or OrCAD
- Knowledge of industry standards including RTCA DO 254, DO 160, MIL STD 704, and MIL STD 461
- Strong understanding of communication protocols like SPI, Ethernet, ARINC 429, or MIL STD 1551
