Develop and design power conversion and distribution using modern semiconductors like SiC and GaN, while modeling electrical, thermal, and system-level behaviors with SPICE or PLECS. Lead hands-on bring-up, debugging, and characterization to solve real-world issues across switching, timing, sensing, and protection. Coordinate with external partners for PCB fabrication and component sourcing to ensure cohesive, deployable systems. Leverage AI-native tools including agents and LLMs to accelerate design and testing cycles. This role requires 4+ years of experience in power electronics and a "builder" mentality to thrive in a high-intensity environment of approximately 60 hours per week.
