Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
Review engineering logs, production performance, and data to troubleshoot operational questions and problems. Provide electrical and automation repairs and improvements while acting as a resource for quality-related items, coil research, and sales inquiries. Modify automation, electrical, and mechanical systems to make improvements and recommend process changes. Deliver engineering design, changes, implementation, and capital projects. Serve as a technical resource for operators regarding equipment operation and functionality. Manage backups and disaster recovery for drives and Level 1 systems. Update documentation including print updates, procedures, and maintenance reports.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in the design, programming and commissioning of control systems for industrial applications
- Strong project management skills
- LOTOTO experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Good understanding of closed loop control systems
- Two to 5 years of experience in the metals or related industry
- Moderate AutoCAD proficiency
- Proficient in automation, AC drives, process controls
