Job Summary
Electrical Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to lead project teams in the design and implementation of complex industrial and commercial electrical systems. Responsibilities include designing electrical systems (air distribution, building automation, industrial plants), performing load calculations (Excel, SKM, ETap), system modeling, modifying sequences of operations for relaying and PLC controls, understanding major electrical components (motors, transformers, switchgear, VFDs), vendor coordination to determine specifications, field verification and take-offs for renovations, preparing SD/DD/CD documentation, developing project specifications, coordinating with internal disciplines and external architects/engineers/contractors, handling RFIs and submittals, conducting site visits and preparing site reports, and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university REQUIRED
- 5-10 years professional experience in related Engineering or Consulting industry
- Knowledge of NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI
- Experience leading and collaborating with other Engineers
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient with engineering software SKM or ETAP (a Plus)
- Licensed Professional Engineer PREFERRED
Desired Qualifications

- Knowledge of engineering standards including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI
- Must be computer literate, engineering software such as SKM or ETAP is a Plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Experience leading and collaborating with other Engineers, including training project team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on client satisfaction
