Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer to lead mission-critical facilities projects in the DC Metro area. Architect the electrical backbone for secure environments and sustainable infrastructures, mentor junior engineers, and shepherd projects from site survey through commissioning. Primary Electrical Discipline Lead responsible for design of medium-voltage power distribution, UPS, emergency generators, grounding, high-performance lighting, and integration of fire alarm, security, and telecom/data systems for high-security facilities. Manage the full project lifecycle, conduct surveys and technical reporting, perform SKM and AGI32 calculations, and deliver high-quality designs with AutoCAD and Revit models and As-Built documentation.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Active Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- 10+ years of professional experience in design and specification of complex building systems (Power, Lighting, Fire Alarm, MV, and UPS)
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship (Required for project access)
- Expert command of AutoCAD, Revit, AGI32, and SKM (Power Tools)
