Job Summary
Lead the electrical discipline for secure government facilities and commercial renovations by directing design teams and architecting complex power systems, including medium-voltage distribution, UPS, and emergency generators. Design fire alarm, security, and telecom/data infrastructure for high-security environments while conducting existing condition surveys, writing technical reports, and performing rigorous SKM and AGI32 calculations. Act as the primary point of contact for clients and multidisciplinary partners to resolve engineering challenges during bidding and construction administration. Generate high-fidelity models and As-Built documentation using AutoCAD and Revit to ensure energy efficiency and technical integrity.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Active Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- 10+ years of professional experience in the design and specification of complex building systems (Power, Lighting, Fire Alarm, MV, and UPS)
- Expert command of AutoCAD
- Expert command of Revit
- Expert command of AGI32
- Expert command of SKM (Power Tools)
Desired Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
- LEED Accredited Professional (AP) certification
- RCDD certification
- CDT certification
- Proven track record with large-scale federal government, institutional, or secure-facility renovations
