Job Summary
Lead the design and delivery of complex building electrical systems across all project phases. Design and coordinate systems including utility interconnections, medium-voltage distribution, standby and prime power generation, UPS systems, photovoltaic power systems, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, and lightning protection. Perform and oversee power system studies including short circuit, load flow, power quality, harmonic analysis, and arc flash analysis using SKM Systems Analysis and/or EasyPower. Develop electrical master plans and support long-term infrastructure strategies. Support cogeneration, prime-rated power, and renewable energy system integration, including PPA coordination. Collaborate with architects, owners, utilities, and contractors to resolve technical challenges. Provide utility rebate support and contribute to sustainable design strategies, including LEED, LBC, PHIUS, and WELL certifications. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project coordination efforts. Travel up to 20%, hybrid work arrangement in NH/MA/ME locations.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum of 7-15 years of experience designing and leading design teams for building electrical systems
- Demonstrated experience with complex power distribution and generation systems
