Electrical Engineer & Python Expert - Freelance AI Trainer

Electrical Engineer & Python Expert needed for freelance, project-based AI training tasks. You will design computational engineering problems that hinge on specialized tools (ngspice, scikit-rf, python-control, pandapower, PyPSA, etc.), write Python reference solutions, supply circuit definitions, and determine numerical tolerances for judging model answers. Tasks involve creating problems that require a specialized solver, testing them against agent attempts in parallel, and iterating until desired pass rates. The role emphasizes independent contribution, problem design, and high-quality task development for frontier AI models. Candidates should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, have 2+ years of relevant experience, be proficient in Python, and be comfortable with scriptable EE packages. Strong written English (C1+) is required and remote collaboration across multiple countries is supported on a contract basis. Compensation is up to $36 per hour equivalent, with project hours estimated at 10–20 hours per week during active phases.
